Cape Fear Museum is excited to offer in-person readings and programs related to the children’s book, The Year We Learned to Fly.
Cape Fear Museum is dedicated to providing hands on, immersive experiences that allow families, adults, students and teachers to investigate the world around them.
As a part of the National Endowment of the Arts Big Read initiative led by UNCW’s Office of the Arts, Cape Fear Museum is excited to offer in-person readings and programs related to the children’s book, The Year We Learned to Fly, from October 2022 through April 2023. Cape Fear Museum will partner with community organizations to distribute 100 copies of The Year We Learned to Fly to the surrounding community.
All events take place on Saturdays at 10 am:
- December 3: Book Themed Activity Table
- January 7: Book Themed Activity Table
- February 4: Book Themed Activity Table
- March 4: Book Themed Activity Table
- April 29: Book Reading & Themed Activity Table
